1. Leading in     abc song

2. Pre-task       Review the dialogue.

Ask some pairs of pupils to act out the dialogue.

Tell about the objectives.

3. While-task    

Let the children introduce themselves.        Modle to write the English letters Aa to Gg on the blackboard.

Listen to the tape and sing along.            Get the pupils to write them on their exercise book.

Let the pupils sing all together in chorus.

4.Post-task      

Get pupils to sing to each other in pairs.    Letters game.

5. Check       Discuss what have you learnt.

              Assess in groups.

Pictures, computer, tape ,recorder, letters card

Pupils still have little difficulty in writing letters.

Copy the letters on the exercise book.
